I hope y'all had a fun weekend, because I know I definitely did! As I mentioned last week, my sister was in town visiting as well as my mom and her two co-workers. On Friday, I came home and treated myself with a glass of rose before tackling a to-do list before everyone arrived.
After enjoy my twenty minutes of wine, playing with the dogs, and reading a chapter in my new book, my aunt and I headed to home depot. My aunt is working on a project at their doggy daycare business building their own obstacles for the dogs to play on. So we needed to pick up some wood and tools to complete the project. After our successful tripe to Home Depot, we then stopped in downtown to check out the classic car show. This was a lot of fun! Everyone was out and about, walking around and checking out the old classics.
My aunt's favorite- of course!
Finally the ladies arrived at our house and we went out for Mexican at a local taco dive. The food is so authentic and delicious here! I want to make a guacamole similar to theirs, a lot of fresh ingredients like corn and tomatoes.
On Saturday, we went to the Farmer's Market for our weekly chocolate croissants and veggies/fruits for the week. I love going to the Market every week, they set up downtown by the train station and it's just a really great Saturday morning tradition.
After the Farmer's Market, my sister and I went on a much needed shopping trip. Here's what we walked out of the shopping area with:
J.Crew (Always a First Stop)
I was very lucky on Saturday. Walked in, and they only had one of these dresses left in an xx-small, and it fit perfectly. It's a little see through, so I'm going to get a slip later this week.
On sale for 88.99, I got an extra 50% off plus my student discount.

My sister got very similar pants to these, but can't find them on the website.
Anthropologie
My sister got this pretty top for a basic this fall! Would look great with jeans and boots. Very soft.
She also bought this tank which was very pretty but needs a bandeau to wear.
LuluLemon
I purchased this lululemon top in a size 4. It fit perfectly without being too tight.
I also purchased this tee which is so soft, you'll want to live in it forever. Great to throw on with ripped jeans or to throw over your workout tank with leggings or crops.
My sister purchases these leggings in green. They were a great color, but she had to go up a size. A lot of lulu's tights have been getting tighter, so we both have found that we are buying a 6 in pants. She also purchased this tank in the color melon and this free to be wild bra in the color black. For reference she is a size 34 C and wears a size 6 in bras there. I am a 32 A and wear a size 4.
That pretty much concluded our shopping spree. Here are some things I have in my baskets to order online:
Our Sunday was pretty chill. We went to an art show with my mom, her co-workers, my sister, and my aunt. It was a pretty nice art show, followed by a yummy shared ice cream treat! That night, my mom and co-workers left while my sister, aunt and I kind of just hung around the house, watching shows and reading our books.
Don't forget to comment below- I love hearing from you guys! Look for my posts through out the week :)
