Essentials to a Sunday Funday

Hi Gorgeous!!!

I hope y'all had a really relaxing and fun weekend. On Saturday, my aunt and I did a lot of house hold work. We mowed/cleaned up the lawn at their current house, ran some errands (big SAM's club run for our upcoming trip) and worked on an avoided pile of laundry. While my aunts worked on some projects for their side business, I went to the movies with some friends. I have been dying to see the movie "Train Wreck" ever since I saw the preview. Trailer If you haven't had the chance to see this movie (and appreciate humor) then I highly suggest seeing this soon. I seriously couldn't stop laughing through the entire movie. I then went to babysit for one of my friends while they went out to dinner. The kids and I ate dinner together and watched grown ups 2, their choice. Overall the kids had a really fun time as one of them said "Do you know when my parents are coming home? Because I am having a really good time and don't want you to leave".
Sunday, we honestly had a really relaxing day. We went over to the new house and worked on the yard. I got on the "big" red (our tractor) and cut the 1.5 acre lot while my aunts trimmed up the trees and took care of the weeds. Then we laid out markers of the new house that will be built and made note of what they wanted to change. It's fun to see the progress being made.

During the evening, we had our good friend Mary Jo over for pizza and badminton. Nothing is better on a Sunday night than a good slice (ok, two slices) of pepperoni pizza followed by a game of badminton. My aunts bought these really cool light up birdies so we can keep playing through sunset. If you are on the market for these birdies, I highly suggest buying ones that are a solid color. It is really hard to see the ones that change colors. Light Up Birdies After some reflection of my fun Sunday, I realized that I have a list of essentials for Sundays to be fun without the dread of Monday morning.
Sunday Funday Essentials
Wild Tank
1. Relaxing, Comfortable Outfit. I love to be active on any day, but especially Sundays. My favorite thing to wear on Sundays is my LuluLemon Skirt and my LuluLemon Top. I like to wear this outfit or something very similar because then I am ready for anything: quick run, tennis match, badminton, dog walk, etc.
2. Sunscreen! This one is key for any day that you are having fun outdoors.
3. Bug Spray! Everyone seems to forget this one! For example, yesterday I forgot to put some on so needless to say, I'm all itchy today!
4. Good Friends!
5. Good drinks! Here are some of my summer favorite mixes:
(I have recently really gotten into Whiskey!)

Obviously any of these items can turn any day into a funday. I challenge you to turn a weekday this week into a funday. How else are we working people going to get through life if we don't let our hair down and have some fun!

Look for my post later this week about hairstyles I am loving. Don't forget to comment below with how you spent your weekend, what your sunday funday essentials are- I love hearing from y'all!!

XOXO-Mandie
