Graduation, shopping and everything in between!

Hi Gorgeous!!!

Wow, what a weekend full of fun activities and great conversations. On Saturday I graduated from college (finally!) which still seems really crazy that I am done! The morning ceremony went from 8:50am until 1 pm. The students had to check in between 7:30-8 am, so needless to say we had to be up very early (6am)! The first ceremony was great with a really funny speaker who not only inspired us college graduates but also made us laugh. Then after that part was over, we had to move to our individual school ceremonies. I graduated from the college of arts and sciences with a bachelor of arts in psychology. This is when things got really crazy. The whole ceremony was hosted outside, and when we went to where I would actually walk, it began to pour down raining and decided to keep raining during the rest of graduation. We were all soaked! In the end, it was a rememberable event.

My graduation gown was navy, and the college I was graduating from was the color white. After receiving my graduation gown, I immediately drove over to a local monogram store and had it monogrammed! It turned out really cute! Underneath my gown, I wore my ultimate favorite Maggy London floral print dress with a jean jacket! (Link below)

Yesterday, my sister and I went shopping for the entire day. In the morning, my mom was able to join us before she had to go into work. During our morning shopping trip we hit up j.crew, vineyard vines, evereve, and madewell. At j.crew, I got two pairs of pants for my new internship job and a few tops to go with the pants. Vineyard Vines, I was finally able to buy my favorite dress and it was on sale! I've been eying this one for a while, but hesitating buying it based on the reviews. Online, some shoppers have reported that the arm sleeves were a bit tight but when I tried on the 0 (instead of my normal 00) I had plenty of room to move around. Reminder, it is a shift, so it will naturally be more stiff than a sundress. We had no luck at evereve yesterday :( and my sister got a really cute tank at madewell.

Our afternoon shopping trip included a trip to the outlet mall to visit kate spade outlet and j.crew factory. While at these places, my sister bought me a new perfume as my graduation gift. I love the scent. It's so fun and "colorful" for summer.

At j.crew factory, I got a new necklace (on sale), a great cardigan (on sale), and a fun belt (on sale) all for the internship this summer/fall. My sister got a really fun bright yellow rain coat, a necklace, and a fun tee-shirt; all on sale as well. J.crew factory was having a great sale day yesterday.

I'll be blogging tomorrow with how to wear my favorite new vineyard vines dress (well new to me) and sharing my beauty routine! Comment below with what stores you always visit on a shopping trip and what you thought of today's post! Talk to you tomorrow :)

XOXO-Mandie
