Every season, I have always looked at my closet and wondered "what do you love out of this" and "what do you not wear". These questions used to be so easy before I fell in love with shopping. I've always been into fashion, but never thought to spend money on fashionable clothes when I'm such a plain Jane. But damn are these hard questions now. In the past 6 months, I have been doing a system of cleaning out my closet each season to make room for the new stuff. Each season I allow myself to buy a certain amount of clothing (and yes I disregard that sometimes) based on how much stuff I have cleaned out. Before I left for Chicago, I did a huge load out of clothing, purses, and accessories I'm not wearing and for some reason was holding on to them.
I know, it sounds like such a tedious task, but if you take the time for yourself, you won't only feel better about your self but you'll also be able to find the clothes you love easier. And you may be able to make a few bucks by re-selling your clothes (I made $65 between two re-sale shops!). If you have top brand name clothing you want to get rid of (first call me! just kidding!!) you should consider donating to The Fashion Project. Majority of the proceeds from the company selling your clothes goes to great charities. Each month there is a new charity showcased. So far they have raised $730,643 for charities! That's amazing. Now for the good part, the re-stocking of the closet. Since I did just clean out my closet, and have room (money) for new clothes, here's a look at what I have my eyes on:
I am loving this top from Vineyard Vines. Very similar to another top of mine that is wearing out. Keeping my eye out for this to go on sale! (Will inform y'all as well when it does!)
Such an adorable strapless dress from Lilly Pulitzer. Would be so cute on the beach or running around in the windy city with a jeans jacket and Jack Rogers.

I just bought these two tee-shirts. When I cleaned out my closet a couple weeks ago, I got rid of a lot of tees. So needless to say I needed to add a couple and I've been eyeing these. I bought the print above and the sailboat print (of course!) below.
Tonight, my aunt and I are attending an exclusive art gallery opening that we both are really excited about. I'm planning on wearing my A.G. dark jeans, a black artsy top, and boots.
